52 Fridays: #4 – Arkansas

I’ve been to Arkansas a couple times – we went into Eureka Springs after dropping off a group of kids from Urban Concern at a big Missouri summer camp. Β My main focus was ice cream because Arkansas is HOT in the summer!

Home to Bill Clinton, Johnny Cash and Wal Mart, Arkansas is a place of great natural beauty, as well as creative energy.

Next week we’ll be visiting sunny California… Β It will be a challenge to choose just 10 pieces, I’m sure!

  1. What lovely art work you found there, I especially love the cow! Which is something we have a lot of here. Ice cream sounds very nice, you can never have enough. And it tastes wonderful in winter too :). Looking forward to your visit to California, as I’ve been there, although many, many, many years ago…

    • Yes, I think Miss March is a favorite! πŸ™‚ Maybe it is the ice cream connection? What is your favorite kind? I like coconut chocolate chip from Graeters.
And yes, I too am excited to share my California finds. I only wish I had a sponsor to send me there for first hand research! I love California, especially Northern CA.

  2. I was doing a search of my name under images and saw where back in Nov of 2011 you had posted one of my small square bowls (labled box). I hope you got a chance to see some of my unique vessel sinks also. Thanks and I hope you enjoyed your time here. BTW, Love the idea of 52 fridays of art πŸ™‚
